Historic pub makes comeback after revamp

A HISTORIC Somerset pub, The Blue Ball Inn at Triscombe, right, near Taunton, boasting over 400 years of history, has welcomed patrons once again.

The thatched-roof establishment, one of the few remaining in the county, has certainly seen its share of highs and lows throughout the centuries, with seven “failed” attempts during the past 16 years to make a go of the pub.
