Evans hails noise of the Rovers fans after victory

HEAD coach Steve Evans said that the noise levels inside the Memorial Stadium on Saturday "resembled Elland Road" as Tommy Leigh scored a 92nd-minute winner to give Bristol Rovers victory against Crewe Alexandra.
Leigh scored a late double for the Pirates to secure a fourth win in their last five at home and move six points clear of the League Two drop zone.
The first half saw Rovers register zero shots on target, but the head coach made a triple change at the break, including Leigh, with the hosts dominating the second 45. Alfie Pond's header had put Crewe ahead in the first half, and that had looked like being the difference until Leigh's late double turned things around.
