Ear-biting student spared prison term

A UNIVERSITY student has avoided jail after he admitted to biting a man’s ear in Bath last summer.

Bath Magistrates’ Court heard that 21-year-old James Boskey was at end-of-academic-year celebrations at Bath Racecourse when he caused a disfigurement to the victim's ear.
At around 8pm on Friday, May 31, 2024, the victim noticed two unknown men arguing and approached them, asking ‘how much money do you guys make?’ The court heard that the defendant then attacked him before security guards separated them.
