Blindly stumbling to global catastrophe

"THERE are none so blind as those who will not see.
This adage captures the mindset of individuals who persist in denying the severity of climate and nature change and the urgent necessity to reach Net Zero. Among them are politicians, media barons and influencers who benefit financially and politically from supporting the fossil fuel industry.
In addition, there is also a larger group of their followers blinded by social media conspiracies and untruths peddled by the former group.
Despite this, the Office of National Statistics report that 74% of the UK population are worried about climate change but for many, the sheer size of the crisis feels too daunting to process.
