Bid to sell KFC chicken until 5am postponed

KFC'S bid to sell chicken to Bridgwater residents until 5am has been pushed back after a councillor failed to show up to the hearing.

The fast food giant applied to change the licence for its Dunball premises, near junction 23 of the M5, allowing it to sell takeaway food through its drive-thru until the early hours of every morning.
Somerset Council's licensing subcommittee north was due to meet virtually yesterday to discuss the application in detail.
