Amphitheatre, allotments and play area planned for new park

TAUNTON'S newest public park could include an amphitheatre, allotments and a substantial children's play area if revised plans are approved.

The Orchard Grove estate on the western edge of the town will comprise 2,000 homes between the A38 Wellington Road and Honiton Road in the village of Trull.
A new primary school and 'park and bus' site have already been built, with construction under way on commercial space and a care home.
