THE ladies’ latest Wild League game took place at home against Frome Selwood.
Due to the heat, the game was reduced from 18 ends to 12 and Wells managed to win on two rinks whilst only losing the third by a single shot. That gave the hosts victory overall by 52-20 to gain ten league points.
Rink scores: A Churches, E Morley, P Green 22 shots (Frome Selwood 3); L Sykes, T Bishop, J Rossiter 19 shots (Selwood 5); ¢ Pringle, R Allen, S May 11 shots (Selwood 12).
With their other Wild League game at Glastonbury Wyrral Park postponed, the ladies hosted Street in the fifth round of the Southey Cup.
