An independent opticians in Wells has been fundraising for local charity Somerset Sight, in efforts to give back to their community and protect the vision of generations to come.

Millicans & Mansfield Opticians, situated on the High Street in Wells, is a blended team of two longstanding practices that came together in 2023. Under the leadership of Samantha Millican, Lee Redman and Rebecca Donnelly, the practice has built strong relationships with patients across the local area and continues to champion community-focused eyecare.

On October 29, the team led by receptionist Sharron Hiscox hosted a charity coffee and cake morning in support of Somerset Sight. Around 50 people attended throughout the day, enjoying home-baked treats and friendly conversation while raising funds for the local sight-loss charity.
