GET ready to embark on a thrilling adventure. The Drama Lab is thrilled to announce its annual theatrical offering for 2025: Disney’s Aladdin Jr., a magical retelling of the beloved 1992 film.
This production that promises to captivate audiences with nostalgic, singable tunes and a heartfelt story, performed from Friday 9th May to Saturday 17th May, 2025, at Table View Primary School.
Directed by the talented Julie Dickson, with choreography by the Fleur du Cap award-winner Bethany Dickson and musical direction by Raé Swart, the show features a cast of 45 passionate young actors. Audiences can expect a fresh and engaging adaptation tailored to younger audiences while still delighting all ages. The classic tale follows Aladdin, a street rat, as he falls in love with Princess Jasmine and discovers his true self with the help of the iconic Genie of the Lamp.
