Stars recall day Lions teammate met his match
FORMER Wales international Dafydd James "s**t himself" on a British and Irish Lions tour after having a snake wrapped around his head.
In 2001, a 25-year-old James was named in the Lions squad to tour Australia alongside fellow Welsh internationals Scott Quinnell, Rob Howley and others.
Also in the squad was legendary Irishman Brian O'Driscoll, who was also taking part in his maiden tour.
Speaking at the Lions squad announcement last week, O'Driscoll revealed the moment his Welsh teammate almost suffered the wrath of a 50kg snake.
