Defeat of Exeter helps Sandford creep away from drop zone

SANDFORD defeated Exeter by three wickets to creep a little further away from the Premier Division drop spots.
James Theedom and Aryan Lakra bagged three wickets each as the County Grounders were bowled out for 209 with more than five overs to go. Lakra promptly nailed the man-of-the-match with an unbeaten 99 that steered Sandford to victory with five overs in hand. This win moved Sandford 27 points above the relegation waterline and ahead of Heath-coat, who were beaten by defending champions Bradninch & Kentis-beare.
