Woman shot dead on Valentine's Day

Suspect may have plunged into Thames after attack outside pub

A WOMAN was shot dead in the car park of a busy village pub on Valentine's Day.

Police say the suspect is believed to have been known to the victim.

Detectives think the man they are looking for may have ended up plunging into the River Thames.

The shooting was at the Three Horseshoes pub in the pretty village of Knockholt, near Sevenoaks, Kent, at around 7pm on Friday.

The woman in her 40s was declared dead at the scene and detectives launched a murder investigation.
