Magic man Nest is pinpoint perfect as Hornets sting

SEQUELS are rarely as good as the original but Nestory Irankunda’s set-piece genius was a repeat prescription better than any pep pills.

- MIKE WALTERS

Watford's Aussie international, signed for just £3million from Bayern Munich, threaded a magnificent 25-yard free-kick through the eye of a needle to rescue a point.

In a game littered with dead-ball expertise, Irankunda's party piece was a stunning response to Ryan Manning's superb missile, whipped into the bottom corner, which put Saints 2-1 up.

But it was an astonishing feat for Irankunda to hit the bullseye in back-to-back games after his perfect hit - into the opposite top corner - at Swansea seven days earlier.

Hornets head coach Paulo Pezzolano said: “I'm not really surprised to see Nestory score goals like that because we know of his quality, but you don't expect to see two of them in such a short space of time.
