Love Island's Adam on becoming family man

LOVE Island lothario Adam Collard says meeting his fiancée and becoming a dad has given him a purpose in life.

Adam, 29 - whose exploits earned him a reputation as a player - is now engaged to TNT Sports presenter Laura Woods.

And the fitness coach reckons that people will see his softer side in the current series of Channel 4's Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Echoing a trope from the ITV dating show, he says: "Everyone's followed my relationships since I was 21 and they've been right about me - until they were wrong.

"Laura was the change... I always knew I had it in me but until I found that girl, I was always going to be 'that' guy. I was just a stupid, immature boy before.

"On SAS, people see the family man, the caring side which has always been there, deep down."

Adam says taking part in the show was an amazing experience, adding: "I like how it's not 'produced'. When we're in there, it doesn't feel like a TV show. It wasn't easy though the final days were tough.
