Ukraine leader fears Putin stitch-up

KEIR Starmer yesterday offered Ukraine “unwavering support” after Volodymyr Zelensky rejected Donald Trump's peace plan, fearing a stitch-up with Putin.

The American President said he will meet the Russian dictator in Alaska on Friday - but also suggested part of the deal would mean Ukraine giving up land to Russia.

Mr Zelensky angrily ruled that out, insisting: "Ukrainians will not give their land to the occupier.

"Any decisions made against us, any decisions made without Ukraine, are at the same time decisions against peace. They will bring nothing.

"These are dead decisions. They will never work."
