Remorseless footballer blamed porn for attacks
A ONCE-PROMISING footballer who showed no remorse for raping two girls and a vulnerable woman has been jailed for 18 years.
Sahil Ali, 21, signed for Brighton and Hove Albion as a schoolboy and had spells at Millwall and Barnet.
He attacked two girls, aged 15 and 17, and a woman aged 29, whose mental age was a lot younger, between 2022 and last year in car parks, a court heard.
Ali was found guilty of seven rapes, intentional strangulation and serious sexual assault. In addition to jail time he was given a further five years on licence for dangerousness and put on the sex offender register indefinitely.
