ENZO'S BLUES DEFINITELY ON WRIGHT PATH

SHAUN WRIGHT-PHILLIPS reckons Chelsea can become serious contenders for the Premier League title should they pick up a win over Arsenal this afternoon.

Going into a huge London derby at Stamford Bridge, the Blues sit six points adrift of the table-topping Gunners.

Boss Enzo Maresca (above right) has so far refused to be drawn into any talk of his young squad competing for the league title, but it has been an impressive start to the season.

Wright-Phillips (above left) - who won the league with Chelsea in his debut season at Stamford Bridge in 2006 - has backed his former club to compete with Arsenal this term, but acknowledged how significant today's showdown is.

"They might play it down, but a win puts them in a great position to pick Arsenal off, and it will be a huge boost for their confidence,” Wright-Phillips told BestBettingSites.
