Cherries caught off guard by alert Norgaard

CHRISTIAN NORGAARD caught Bournemouth napping in the same week the Brentford captain revealed he feared he might become addicted to sleeping pills.

The Danish midfielder spoke openly of his concerns over pill-popping, but proved he was the most alert man on the field when it came to seizing opportunities.

His 71st-minute winner - when the Cherries were dozing at a set-piece — proved enough to give the mighty Bees a fifth successive away win in the league, their best run since 2010 when they were in League One.

They overcame the setback of an early own goal by Vitaly Janelt to level through Yoane Wissa before the break.
