UP Government Plans Healthcare Overhaul With New Policy

With a vision to revolutionize the healthcare landscape of Uttar Pradesh, the Yogi Adityanath-led government is set to roll out a comprehensive new health policy aimed at establishing world-class medical infrastructure across the state.

This policy will serve as a strategic roadmap for the next five years, with the core objective of attracting private investment in the healthcare sector. By fostering public-private partnerships, the government seeks to enhance the availability of advanced medical facilities not only in urban hubs but also in rural and remote regions.

The goal is to provide quality healthcare access at the grassroots level, ensuring that residents of villages and smaller towns no longer need to travel great distances for treatment.

Earlier this week, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a high-level meeting with health officials, stressing the need for globally standard healthcare infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh.
