Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji declared Sukhbir Singh Badal 'Tankhaiya' for defying religious directives.
In a significant religious pronouncement, the Five Singh Sahiban (Panj Pyare) of Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib, have declared Badal a Tankhaiya, citing gross indiscipline and repeated defiance of Takhat directives.
According to the official order issued by the Takhat authorities, Badal was served multiple summons between June 28 and July 2, 2025, directing him to appear before the Takhat and submit his explanation regarding serious allegations. However, he failed to appear or respond on all occasions.
