Piastri likes being hunted, knows he can ‘pull it off’

Oscar Piastri confirmed on Oct 23 that both he and McLaren teammate Lando Norris will start this weekend’s Mexico City Grand Prix with a “clean slate” following their collision in Texas.

The title rivals, separated by 14 points with five grands prix remaining, crashed out during the Oct 18 sprint race at the United States Grand Prix an accident that resulted in Piastri accepting some of the blame.
“We review every weekend, regardless of what’s happened,” the Australian, 24, said.
“I think there is a degree of responsibility on my side for the sprint and we are starting this weekend with a clean slate for both of us. So, just going out racing.”
McLaren had previously judged Norris to have been responsible for their collision in Singapore and told him he faced “repercussions” that would be exercised by the team.
