Nurse Fatin Fathiah Aidil squeezes reading into spare moments

Who: Fatin Fathiah Aidil (@thiahslibby), 22, became a book content creator on TikTok two years ago, when she was looking for friends and book recommendations.
The nurse uses BookTok to build a community of fellow romance readers, exploring other genres as they interest her. She read more than 150 books in 2024 and shares her videos with over 1,200 followers.
"Currently, I'm reading an advanced reader copy (ARC) of Starstruck by Alexandra Lee.
I came across it on BookTok and BookThreads. What intrigued me was that it was inspired by one of my favourite television shows, One Tree Hill (2003 to 2012). I was also in the mood for a rock-star romance, and this book seemed to check the boxes.
Authors often distribute ARCs weeks or months before the official release to gather reviews and encourage promotion from BookTokers and readers. Some authors reach out directly, while others provide sign-up links - which was how I applied for mine.
