Cooper Flagg still has plenty of development to work through, but the Dallas Mavericks rookie has made significant strides recently, and it is paying off.

The Mavericks are on a three-game winning run their first victorious streak of this National Basketball Association (NBA) season heading into the game against Oklahoma City Thunder on Dec 5 (Dec 6, Singapore time).

Facing the reigning champions again is an opportunity for Flagg to show how much he has grown.

In their first meeting this term, he had a season-low two points in the Thunder's 101-94 win on Oct 27.

But, during the recent winning streak, the 18-year-old Flagg became the youngest player in NBA history to score 20 or more points in three consecutive games averaging 27.0 points per game on 59.3 per cent shooting.
