In a first, all 17 town councils get top scores in latest estate management report

All town councils received top ratings in the latest town council management report released by the Ministry of National Development (MND) on June 27.
In a first since the Government started issuing the reports in 2010, the 17 town councils here received green ratings in all four categories assessed – namely estate cleanliness, estate maintenance, lift performance, and service and conservancy charges (S&CC) arrears management.
The latest operational report covers the 2023 financial year (FY) from April 2023 to March 2024. A separate report which assesses town councils’ corporate governance and internal controls over the same period will be published at the end of 2024.
