Djokovic's former crew join Sinner's entourage

Jannik Sinner has hired Novak Djokovic's former fitness coach Marco Panichi and physiotherapist Ulises Badio in the wake of the world No.1 being cleared, despite testing positive twice for a banned substance.

"Welcome to the team," the 23year-old wrote on social media on Sept 16, alongside a photo of himself with fellow Italian Panichi and Argentinian Badio.

The pair replace Umberto Ferrara and Giacomo Naldi respectively, whom Sinner parted ways with before his US Open triumph, after the two positive doping tests in March.

Sinner had tested positive for the steroid clostebol, which can be used to build muscle mass, after Naldi applied an over-the-counter spray to a cut on his own hand before carrying out treatment on him. The spray was given to Naldi by Ferrara.
