Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Monday questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi's absence from Manipur, asking why he hasn't Visited the state amidst the ongoing Violence.

Speaking with a news agency, Lalu Yadav said, "Ask the Prime Minister why he is not going to Manipur. " When asked about the Jharkhand elections, he said, "When the results come, you will know. "
Meanwhile, RJD leader Mrityunj ay Tiwari too slammed the Central government over the prolonged unrest in Manipur. He accused the Prime Minister of neglecting the northeastern state while focusing on international trips.
