US 100pc tariff unlikely to hit pharma exports immediately: Analysts

The US Administration has announced imposition of a 100per cent tariff on branded or patented drugs entering the US from 1 October.
However, this comes with exemption for pharmaceutical companies building manufacturing plant in the US. The exemption also covers projects where construction has started, including sites that have broken ground or are under construction.
