Kalaikunda AFS hosts joint IAF, RSAF training

Originally designed for the B24 Liberator, an American heavy bomber aircraft during World War 2, the Kalaikunda Air Force Station (AFS) in West Bengal is now hosting the 11th edition of the annual joint military training between the Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Royal Singapore Air Force (RSAF).
The joint training started or Thursday. The two air forces have resumed this training after a gap of two years since it could not be carried out in the intervening two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This edition of the joint military training would be conducted over a period of six weeks. The bilateral phase of the exercise will be conducted from 9-18 November and will see the two forces engage in advanced air combat simulations.
