The Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra, celebrated its 35th convocation recently with grandeur and academic splendour, conferring degrees upon more than 1,400 graduates in the presence of eminent dignitaries, faculty, and proud parents.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presence of Dr V. Narayanan, Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), who graced the event as the Chief Guest. In an inspiring address, Dr Narayanan urged the young graduates to blend scientific curiosity with empathy and a sense of purpose. "As you embark on your professional journey, remember that empathy, collaboration, and purpose remain the key pillars of success," he said, adding, "Let your actions echo the values and knowledge you have gained in this prestigious institution to transform lives and address the pressing challenges of the globe."
