"In the Uri surgical strike, India destroyed terrorist hideouts by going through the land route, air strike was resorted to Balakot. Whereas post Pahalgam attack, low air space, drones were used. Indian forces surprised the enemy every time and completed their target," he said.
Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Anil Chauhan said on Friday that surprise is an important factor for success in war.
While speaking as a Chief guest of the seminar on 'National Security Challenges before India', on Friday, CDS said that for the security of the nation, Indian forces are always ready on the formula of 365 days, 24 ×7. Wherever the terrorist is, he will be found and killed.
