Meensou India to Restore 4,500 Hectares in Sundarbans

The importance of and various efforts on mangrove conservation and protection of coastal ecosystems are increasingly gaining ground by the day.
West Bengal government has taken a number of initiatives towards this goal and moves are afoot to ensure mangrove conservation and protection of coastal ecosystem in the Sunderbans Ecosphere. Orissa-based Meensou India Pvt Ltd organized a workshop on this in Kolkata.
This was attended by the Minister in-charge of Sundarban Affairs, West Bengal government, Bankim Chandra Hazra, Shrimanto Kumar Mali, Sahakari Sabhadhipati, Zilla Parishad, South 24 Parganas, Kedar Kumar Swain, (IFS), EX CFF, Odisha, Stephane Tromilin, Head of Project Development at Eco Act & Dr. Diana Cisneros, Mangrove Expert at Eco Act, and the CEO & MD of Meensou India Private Limited, Soumya Pradhan.
