Educator and NCC Officer attains dual distinction

Satyaki Banerjee, a resident of Jirat in Balagarh, Hooghly district, and Associate NCC Officer of the 43 Bengal Battalion NCC, has earned the rare distinction of being selected as a Directorate-level Drone Instructor under the Burdwan Group Headquarters.
Mr Banerjee also serves as a Post Graduate Teacher of Biological Science at Jirat Colony High School (H.S.), Balagarh.
The Closing Ceremony of Drone Training Capsule No. 4 was held at the NCC Air Training Institute, Behala, from 18 to 26 February 2026, marking a significant milestone in advanced technical training under the West Bengal & Sikkim Directorate. The Deputy Group Commander of Kolkata ‘B’ NCC Group Headquarters presided over the ceremony and conferred Drone Instructor Qualification Certificates on the successful candidates.
