Confident MI look to sustain momentum against struggling LSG

On a roll after recording four wins on the trot, Mumbai Indians will look to continue the momentum when they take on the Lucknow Super Giants in an afternoon game of IPL 2025 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.

Both teams are in the middle of the points table with five wins each from nine games. Despite the identical number of points in their kitty, their recent form tells a different story. While five-time title winners MI had a typical slow start to their campaign, losing four of their first five games, they picked pace with four successive wins since then, and now appear a well-oiled side. On the other hand, LSG suffered two losses in their last three matches. They did win three in a row after a shaky start, but things are not looking good for them at the moment.
