Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday highlighted the spiritual significance of the Sabarimala shrine, saying it embodies a rare spiritual inclusiveness that transcends caste, creed and religion.

Inaugurating the Global Ayyappa Sangamam on Saturday at Pampa, Chief Minister Vijayan said the conclave would provide direct insights into the needs of devotees and criticised those who manipulate religion for vested interests.
