Telangana CM Urges Rajnath to Transfer 98.2 Acre Defence Land for Gandhi Sarovar Project

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has urged Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to transfer 98.2 acres of defence land to the state government for the Gandhi Sarovar Project at the confluence of rivers Musi and Esa in Hyderabad.
The project, part of the Musi beautification, is considered a pet project of the chief minister. Reddy called on the Union minister at his residence and briefed him about the Gandhi Sarovar Project under which the state government has proposed to construct the Gandhi Circle of Unity at the junction of two rivers. Since the project requires the defence land, the chief minister requested him to transfer 98.2 acres of land to the state government.
