Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) president and actor-turned-politician Vijay has launched a scathing attack on Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin, accusing him of capitulating to the BJP in the wake of Enforcement Directorate (ED) raids linked to the alleged 1,000 crore TASMAC liquor scam.
Vijay criticised Stalin's recent participation in the Niti Aayog meeting in New Delhi, a sharp departure from the DMK's earlier stance of boycotting such events. "When the reasons cited by the Chief Minister for skipping previous Niti Aayog meetings remain unchanged, what has prompted this somersault?" Vijay asked, asserting that the ED's tightening grip is the real reason behind Stalin's sudden outreach to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
