Uttar Pradesh government gears up to rejuvenate 11 heritage sites

In a significant step towards preserving Uttar Pradesh's rich historical legacy, the Yogi Adityanath government has launched an initiative to breathe new life into heritage structures that are slowly falling into ruins.
The Tourism Department is set to rejuvenate 11 ancient forts and buildings under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
Under this framework, private agencies will be responsible for designing, developing, investing in, operating, and eventually handing over the restored sites to the government.
Officials here on Sunday said this initiative aims not only to conserve the architectural and cultural history of the state, but also to enhance tourism and generate both direct and indirect employment opportunities for thousands.
