TMC MP Samirul thanks CM Mamata, Abhishek for support to Sunali’s family

After Sunali Khatun and her 8-year-old son walked into India, the Trinamul Congress, which had been pursuing the case and backing the hapless family from Birbhum, claimed victory.

Sources said that both TMC chairperson Mamata Banerjee and party’s national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee had been following the developments since the time when they were pushed into Bangladesh.

Sources said that Abhishek Banerjee has expressed his happiness on Sunali and her child’s return to India. In closed circles, Abhishek said that this is Bengal’s win as we didn’t bow down to the tyranny of Delhi zamindars against Bengal’s people.

“Our fight will continue to bring back others too who were illegally sent back to Bangladesh by Bangla-Birodhi BJP. Abhishek is soon supposed to meet Sunali and her family.
