UNSC reiterated that any acts of terrorism are criminal and unjustifiable
The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has strongly condemned the recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, and underlined the need to hold perpetrators, organisers, financiers and sponsors of this reprehensible act of terrorism accountable and to bring them to justice.
In a statement, the 15-member UNSC on Friday said: "The members of the Security Council condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, during which at least 26 people were killed and many more injured. The members of the Security Council expressed their deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and to the Government of India and Government of Nepal and wished a speedy and full recovery to those who were injured."
