Often youth are keen on getting a job for the sake of stability but those who dare to dream big need to contribute to the economy by becoming entrepreneurs, said Governor Dr Hari Bahu Kambhampati here.

- STATESMAN NEWS SERVICE

He inaugurated the newly built flexible packaging unit at Cuttack and called upon the youth to become entrepreneurs and spoke of government support in this regard.

Dedicated to manufacturing high-quality packaging materials for the food processing industry, this facility is a significant step in reducing Odisha's dependence on flexible packaging materials from other states. The project will also create opportunities for employment and innovation, he noted.

The Governor congratulated two entrepreneurs of the state, Shrikant Khatua and Pritish Sahu, for setting up the flexible packaging unit.

Minister for Industries, Skill Development and Technical Education Sampada Chandra Swain and Additional Chief Secretary, MSME and Industries Department Hemant Sharma also addressed the gathering.

Srikant Khatua, Managing Partner of Odipak Solutions, partner Pritish Sahu, Dr. Sarat Sahu, Chairman, Odisha Industries Federation also spoke at the function.

Hopes for educational improvement in Rayagada district remain dim as it continues to struggle at the bottom of Odisha's education rankings, currently holding the 30th position. With the National Surveillance Test approaching in December, concerns grow over the quality of education students receive, leading to fresh criticism from the local intellectual community and parents alike.
