Kalahandi Police Busts Notorious Inter-State Gang of Robbers

Kalahandi district police have busted an inter-state robbery gang with the arrest of eight accused persons involved in a major crime and recovered Rs 3.51 crore of the stolen cash, guns, ammunition and vehicles used in the crime on Saturday.
The arrested accused were from Jharkhand and identified as Tahir Ansari, Hussain Khan, Jasim Khan, Samim Ansari, Basudev Gope, Pintu alias Alim, Anuj Kumar and Samim Ansari from Ranchi district of Jharkhand state.
The robbery took place on the 30 January at a country liquor factory in Dharmagarh. Late at night, about eight robbers entered the factory, threatened with guns and deadly weapons and looted a huge amount of money. A case was registered at Dharmagarh police station in this regard.
