India Set to Showcase Para-sports Vision at Asian Meet

India will join the continent's top para-sports stakeholders at the 2025 Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) Conference, Asian Awards and General Assembly in Astana, Kazakhstan, from August 10 to 15, as the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) seeks to play a key role in shaping the region's para-sports future.
As India prepares to host the World Para Athletics Championships later this year, PCI president Devendra Jhajharia and general secretary Jaywant Hammanavar will represent the country at the high-profile gathering.
Bringing together delegates from 45 Asian National Paralympic Committees (NPCs), the event will also see participation from para-athletes, APC Executive Board members, standing committees, international federations, Games organising committees, and global sports organisations.
