EPS rules out tie-up with TVK, dismisses rift with Annamalai

pposition AADMK General Secretary EdappadiK Palaniswami (EPS), heading the NDA in Tamil Nadu for the upcoming Assembly polls, has firmly denied holding alliance talks with the fledgling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Founded by actorturned-politician Vijay.

Speaking at the 8th anniversary celebrations of Chanakya, an online news platform, where he delivered aspecial address and answered questions from its founder Rangaraj Pandey, he categorically denied reports of alliance talks with the TVK stating that no contact or negotiations had taken place between the two parties.

Responding to speculations about whether Vijay's TVK might join the NDA alliance, EPS reiterated that there had been no talks whatsoever.

“T have already said this clearly. There have been no talks. If there are no talks, howcan there be an alliance?” he said.
