CM Majhi Calls for Success of Poshan Abhiyan & Elimination of Malnutrition

To make Odisha prosperous, our priority is to make it free from malnutrition, said Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi while celebrating the State Level Nutrition Day-2025 on Saturday.

He urged people to make the Poshan Abhiyan a success through greater awareness.

The CM inaugurated a new 84-bed hostel at the State Women and Child Development Institute in Laxmisagar-Jharpada, Bhubaneswar, along with a library hall and an Anganwadi Training Center.

He announced that the eight buildings of the institute will be named after the great women of Odisha and the conference hall of the institute will be named after Ramadevi.

It is reported that the Chief Minister declared the auditorium hall of the institute as Sarala Devi auditorium, the library hall as Kamala Pujari Library, the Anganwadi Training Center as Sailabala Das Training Room, the new hostel as Malati Chaudhary Residence, the Anganwadi worker hostel as Bangara Devi Residence, and the guest house as Gurubari Jani Guest House.

Only a healthy child can be a good student and a model citizen in the future, he observed.
