Reiterating the AIADMK's stand on forming a government on its own in the 2026 assembly election, party general secretary and former Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswamy (EPS) has asserted that the Dravidian major is no pushover to succumb to the idea of a coalition government.
"We are not a gullible pushover. The AIADMK will form a government on its own, winning a majority. We will align with any party, but on our terms. We enter into an alliance, if we desire so, and if not, we don't. We are not concerned or perturbed about anything," he said, responding to the criticism of Chief Minister MK Stalin and the DMK's allies about the AIADMK sharing power with the BJP.
