NOZIBELE Mayaba has reflected on an emotional milestone after seeing her independently published books on the shelves of Exclusive Books stores across South Africa.

- LUTHO PASIYA

Sharing the news on social media, Mayaba revealed that she once doubted whether her latest book, Let Me Tell You Something, would reach major bookstores without the backing of a traditional publisher.

“Unlike Positively Me, Let Me Tell You Something is independently published. One of my biggest concerns was whether the book would sell and whether we’d be able to expand our distribution without the resources and backing of a publisher,” she wrote.
