Due to Charlie Kirk remarks, the US cancels Nota Baloyi's visa

NHLAMULO “Nota” Baloyi, a controversial music executive, reportedly had his US visa revoked after making public comments regarding the murder of American conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

The United States government confirmed revoking the visa statuses of several foreign nationals who expressed support for or celebrated Kirk’s assassination online, calling such actions “a direct endorsement of violence and extremism”.

In a statement, the US Department of State said it had identified and quoted several individuals who “celebrated the heinous assassination of Kirk”.

The department added that it would continue to monitor and take action against anyone found to be glorifying or endorsing his death.

“The United States has no obligation to host foreigners who wish death on Americans.

“The State Department continues to identify visa holders who celebrated the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk. Here are just a few examples of aliens who are no longer welcome in the US”
