Yates: I felt Vale gave up in Bolton meeting

FORMER Port Vale defender Adam Yates gave a damning assessment of the team’s performance in the 4-0 thrashing from Bolton Wanders on Saturday.

The BBC Radio Stoke pundit was pleased enough with the opening 25 minutes but was shocked like everyone else when Vale fell apart in alarming fashion.
He said: "I mean, the questions around formation and the personnel in that formation were probably justified in the first 25 minutes as I thought Vale played well and looked the better side.
