MARK Robins says Stoke City will miss Junior Tchamadeu when he heads to the Africa Cup of Nations later this month and will try to figure out a plan to cope with his absence.
Robins today hailed the defender as one of the best in the Championship following a string of excellent performances as the Potters chase a special season.
That form has been rewarded with a call-up to the Cameroon squad for the AFCON tournament, meaning he could potentially miss seven games.
Robins said Stoke were anticipating his involvement which would leave a considerable void to fill given his contribution this term.
But the Stoke manager said they will have to find a way to deal with his temporary exit.
