Brady relishing the prospect of taking on Premier League Sunderland as Valiants target upset

- Clive Youlton

VALE'S ULTIMATE CHALLENGE

CUP DATE: Port Vale boss Jon Brady is looking to mastermind another cup upset when the Valiants take on Regis Le Bris, inset, and his Sunderland team tomorrow.

JON Brady is looking forward to pitting his wits against Sunderland as his Port Vale side go into FA Cup fifth-round battle tomorrow.

The Valiants boss will have prepared his team as best they can to face the Black Cats in front of a crowd in excess of 10,000 at Vale Park and he hopes they can put in a performance.

He told his club's pre-match press conference: "I'm looking forward to it.

"Obviously the other night the boys did really well to get through [against Bristol City] and now you set yourself up against a Premier League side and obviously throughout the world, to play against a Premier League side is the pinnacle of football for us, really."

He has enjoyed delving into the opposition and added: "I have enjoyed it, when you see the power, pace and athleticism they have, you know they are Premier League for a reason but we have also got some quick players ourselves and it's the biggest challenge you will come up against.
